The Savannah Valley Rescue and Recovery Dive Team is a entirely
volunteer organization operated by donations and fundraisers throughout the
year. The Dive Team is deployed by our 911 dispatchers anytime an emergency
happens on Strom Thurmond Lake or any other body of water in our area,
recovering small and large objects alike. The largest Item ever recovered by
our Dive Team is a McCormick County Motor Grader.
